There will be two styles of contributed talks during the afternoon of March 21st, 22nd and 23rd:
15-minute talks – 12 min talks with 3 minute question period.
5-minute speed-talks – Mini-talks are 5 minutes maximum and designed to give a quick overview – times will be strictly monitored for length. There will be no question period and the change-over will be fast. If you go over 5 minutes, you’ll get cut off (in a kind way).
Presentations uploads: Come to the reception desk at the entrance of the Auditorium to upload your talk prior to/during the conference. Please do so with as much advance time as you can. All participants are encouraged to test run their presentations in between sessions to ensure compatibility. Each room will have a Microsoft Windows PC with Powerpoint and Adobe Reader installed. Speakers with MacOS devices should make sure their presentation files are compatible beforehand.
Dedicated poster sessions will be held on the evening of March 21st, 22nd and 23rd depending on final numbers. More details about the venue will be posted after final registration. Submit your abstract to the event management system: www.sge.uevora.pt
Poster format and printing: Posters will need to be portrait format, with dimensions approximately 3 ft wide x 4 ft tall (~91 x 120 cm). If you need to print out your poster in Évora, please send us an email to email@example.com and we’ll send you contact details for available printing services near the conference venue.
